This one's my favourite of this series. I hope you like it, too.
Photographer: me
Model: me
Taken with fujifilm finepix 2650, edited in photoshop.
EDIT: Like ~psamtik suggested, and like I was thinking of doing, I did a bit of cleaning up in the top of the photo, where there was some dust interfering, and I also blackened the background to make the legs stand out more. I hope you like this version better, cos I do.
2nd EDIT: I've updated this with a larger version, so it may be printable one of these days. Plus I'd like to be able to submit this to the fair next year, if I remember to.
3rd EDIT: I did end up entering this in the Mid-State Fair in July 2005, and it won 2nd Place in the Advanced Amateur Digitally Enhanced Photography section, which got me $20.
You've been featured in my journal! This is because I love your work and want to share it with my watchers! Thanks for creating something so beautiful! Keep up the good work!
where did you find gold pointe shoes?? or were they photomanipulated ^^ if they were, its seamless. interesting to pair those shoes with fishnets...but it looks so good definitely a +fav
No, they're pink... kind of a peach-ish colour, though. It was difficult to get the colour accurate on this... I'm not really very happy with how not pink they are. I'm editing the colour a bit more before I submit it in the fair. But yes, this is manipulated. Not a whole lot, but enough to make it not a pure photo. I removed the stuff that was in the background so it's just black, and I desaturated everything but the shoes, and I did alter the colour a bit to try to make them look better, but I think it made it worse... I barely remember anymore, though, since it's been almost a year since I created this. Thanks so much, though!
maah those are minor edits i still love it...fake or not, gold pointe shoes look really good ^^ somebody should make them, angelo luizio (spelling?) or something. send them your photo but youre welcome
Yeah, I agree. I think some places will custom dye shoes, for you, though... you might wanna look into it. I have a pair I dyed red once, which turned out cool.
